Dear Team, This is Sathish from Zwilling Kitchen India, I just want to discuss some IR topics in this forum.

Our employee has been missing from service for the past two weeks. We have sent an unauthorized leave notice to his registered address. But the employee has moved the residence to another location. He did not report the update to the HR department. The same letter was sent to his WhatsApp number. He received the letter and gave us the message. "I will come to the factory next Monday the message dated 24/06/2022

He has not yet reached the factory. Could you suggest me? What is the next step?

You neeed to convey a message through whatsApp as below:

You have been unautouridedly absent from since..........

In this regard a notice /letter was sent to your last known residentirnl address as declared by you and borne on our records and this letter retuned unserved as you were reported to have been not living in the address .

Further, you have not updated your present address in official records as required as per company's rules/certifiied standing orders

We communicated the contents of the letter/notice in your WhatsApp number on ....... and i response, you replied to us through whatsApp stating that you would return to factory on 24th June 2022 .Howver you had reported for work till now.

Under the circumstances, please note that unless you resume work on or before ( set some dealdine as you deem fit) on receipt this communication with a satisfactory explanation in writing for your unthourised absence , we shall hold a reasonable presumption that you have abandoned/left the services on your own will and volition and accordingly your name will be struck /removed from the rolls of the company without anyy further reference to you and your dues if any will be settled by the Accounts Department in due course

PS Where there is a certified standing orders , you need to quote the relevant clause or model standing orders clause in the absence of certified standing orders while conveying /referring to abandonmnet clause
