Work from home policy being abused by employees
Hi members i manage the hr requirements for a small but global it company that facilitates other it giants market their products channel marketing. our account managers and program managers need to stay in constant contact with their clients customers and colleagues. most of them have got permission to work or provide support from home and as we work across different time zones they sometimes need to attend meetings from home. a couple of them are abusing this privilege by applying to work from home whenever they have some personal challenge.they are allowed because their reporting head is located in the states where most of the employees work from home by design and save on commuting time. can anyone help me by suggesting a proper work from home policy that can curtail such abuses. thank you in advance ashok
Resignation from employees when on work from home due to coronavirus
Hi all we are an small it company with 25 employees currently . due to corona virus we have given everyone work from home to all employees. but one of our employee had just given resignation 2 days ago and 1 employee gave resignation after we started work from home. both are senior resources and have dependency of work . what can we do to extend their notice period?is it allowed? as we have two months notice period but next 15 days will work from home and handover and training junior candidates and finding replacement procedure may take time.
Corona crisis - work from home or if we have to give leaves then what would be the policy regarding their salary?
Hi experts i am from ahmedabad gujarat. i am working as hr manager in it company as on now no single positive case of corona has been found in gujarat. as a prior steps of prevention government of gujarat has announce to close down school colleges & all. as of now we are not near to the situation like lockout. but in case lockout happens & we have to ask employees to work from home or if we have to give leaves to them then what would be the policy regarding their salary? if we give them paid leaves for 15 days then what about work? if we give work from home then how we will measure their work? we are it company and as of now we do not allow work from home. we are 25 employees.
Can the organisation deduct from your monthly salary during the probation period without giving any prior notice/ information or without signing hr policies, terms and agreement papers with you?
Greetings this is my probation period in this it company. during the last two months there was really not much work assigned to me as i was working from home as asked by my boss but now they have deducted 60 of my monthly salary from last two months without any prior notice or discussion. at the time of joining i had only received a offer letter which has no mention of span of probation period or any terms or conditions lettter attatched to it. it was more like plain text consisting the mention of my monthly in hand salary and the last date of doc verification and joining. now when i put an enquiry on the deducted amount with my hr he has to say that it is in their hr policy which is still unknown to me since i have not received any terms and conditions letter from their side so far. my question is can they deduct from my monthly salaries without any prior discussions only because i m on my probation period? thank you.
Salaries for staff working vs staying at home - are we allowed to have salary cut, layoffs or furlough?
We are it/embedded systems company in gujarat. due to lockdown most of our employees are working from home. since government have eased the lockdown we are allowing some local and office cleaning/production staff to resume work. our issue is with cleaning/production staff. right now cleaning/production staff with owned vehicles are able to come and employees who do not own private vehicles are not coming but all of them are getting full salary. we don t have facilities to provide company transport for employees. need suggestion on what can be done in this kind a scenario. there is a question of fairness because right now those that are actually working at the office are getting paid the same salary as those that are sat at home. are we allowed to have salary cut layoffs or furlough? please advise.

Hi all can anyone please let me know names of it companines / consultancies which offer from facility for it recruitment us. one of my friend working as an it recruiter 2 years exp in a software development company mumbai wants to do something independenttly and for that some one has suggested her that now a days there are some companies who do resourcing for their us clients however they offer work from home facility to the interested candidates. please reply with your valuable advice on the above matter and let me know if it is worth working from home. also other than recruitment what are the other hr activities which can be carried out from home. if not it sector what all other jobs are available which can be done from home. awaiting your replies at the eariest.
