There is no separate rule for Tamil Nadu with regard to payment of bonus because the Payment of Bonus Act is a central Act. As such employees whose salary is not more than Rs 21000 per month are eligible to bonus and the amount of their bonus shall be calculated on Rs 7000 or on the minimum wages notified by the Government of Tamil nadu.
