ommygautamIn this case I would like to say, it would be more effective to contact the department by the company and not by you. Because for EPFO you are only a common man, but industry is more than common man. Therefore, from your father's company, get a letter of explanation written and sent, in which the whole story is written. This letter should be written by the company itself along with the relevant documents on their letter head.

bijay_majumdarAll the records needs to be updated on epf portal with the joint declaration of employee and employer with all the proff of records as required by epf authorities.It may take time but will be resolved.Any discrepancies on employer part should be brought to the notice of epf authority with proper proof of service records.
The epf office handles greivances effeciently.Pls get in touch with concerned epf officer for this.
