Sir/Madam, As part of joining in company i have submitted my original academic certificates but due to covid i was unable to continue after 1 year the company is not returning my certificates and they are asking to pay the amount. Kindly help me in this to retain my certificates as im not working currently to meet finances

Why have you submitted your original certificates? You should have submitted photo copies of
all your certificates, duly attested by any Gazetted officer - which is as good as original - for the purpose of submission of documents to company.
Kindly explain your narration "after 1 year the company is not returning my certificates and they are asking to pay the amount". Why are they asking payment? Is the payment asked, in lieu of notice period??
