Baby has expired after delivery - whether maternity leave will be applicable to me?

Hello sir/mam, I am working as an assistant professor in one of the reputed private university in Banglore.
I have delivered on 14/10/2021 through cesarian but my baby has expired after delivery. Please let me know whether maternity leave will be applicable to me.
