Increments are given subject to satisfactory performance for a year. for the subsequent years of service, the increment can be tagged to a specified date like January 1 or April 1, July 1 etc. The rate of increment shall be decided on the basis of the rate in similar industries and rate across industries at your locality (industry cum region principle), most importantly considering your financials.
