Dear all, I am new to this forum. And I just wanted to know that Gross. wages or EPF wages change every month based on NCP or it is fixed all months? Employee's absence does not affect any epf or eps wages.

If the EPF is deducted on the ceiling amount,( =Rs.15,000 now) the employee's absence does not affect the PF deduction so long the gross salary (Basic + DA) is more than the ceiling amount. But where it is deducted on an actual salary basis it would vary depending on the gross salary drawn.
