Dear All, I have a doubt regarding Casual Leave adjustment one of our staff is absent (on leave) on three occasions 6 days in March'2021. But in Jan'21 we have given 1 CL and in February'21 we have given 3 CL as per Director Instructions. Now, our Director told me Mr.X is absent (on leave) on three occasions, but never more than 3 days at a stretch. Therefore all of these are to be debited to CL A/c. is correct? or how many days we adjust against CL. He is having only 8 CL. Kindly advise me immediately.

The general practice which is followed in many companies is that CL can not be availed for more than 2 days at a stretch. Minimum CL to be availed is half-a-day
Thus you can sanction him 2 days CL as per the leave policy which are followed in many good companies.
But you have to take a call with regard to the leave policy in your company
