Please clarify: If a woman who is working in 'A' PSU is on authorized leave without Pay on medical condition during pregnancy and yet to avail the Maternity leave. In this situation, she has another job offer from PSU 'B'.
1. How can she release herself from PSU A to B after serving the notice period.
2. And whether the PSU B will wait for the women to join after completing leave on pay and maternity leave.
3. Can maternity leave can be calculated for serving the notice period.

1. She has to resign on first hand also has to work till completion of notice period as mandate as per her terms of appointment or can buy out the option, then she can be released from A to join B.
2. The company 'B' will wait till the date they finalized for the joining of the candidate. The employer may not extend the date of joining. The employer can defer the date of joining on the request of the candidate if they feel it necessary.
3. The maternity leave can not be calculated under notice period. Therefore, the candidate either have to decide whether to avail the benefit or leave the benefit to make her free from the clutch of A.
