Greeting all members, Need your suggestions regarding the interview question of Reason for leaving the last job?
If a person resigned due to workload during the covid time (the discussion happened with manager and HOD, but nothing happened instead of that warning letter issued for a mistake this was not the first time when the mistake happened it was solved verbally very well in the past)
Please suggest what reason should be given in the interview when HR asks why did you resign during the pandemic?
why are you expecting a hike after the pandemic?

You know the truth, so can offer this explanation ; As it is a well known fact that everyone in country know how business & trade had suffered due to sudden out break of Covid. The Govt decided to check on pandemic declared shut down and lock down in country. Owing to shut down & lock down in country your organization suffered severe setback in business. To overcome the situation the management took decision to cut the size of work force, they kept option of resign or termination.
