Dear Seniors, I am working in a manufacturing company in Mumbai, I want suggestion regarding one problem as stated below:
The PF passbook of some of our colleagues opening balance before 2009 is showing NIL but the company has made payment timely & the consultant who has done the payments and other PF-related work during that period is not contactable. Now those colleagues frequently raising this issue, hence please suggest what to do?

before 2017 sept status
mere payment was not enough but the form 3A and 6A was also to be submitted to EPF office, and after reconciliation of challans with 3A amounts, the departments used to credit the amount
check the records of establishment, and if needed submit the department submitted form 3A and 6A xerox copies again to dealing desk, they will check and proceed
