Hi All, I work with a startup and recruitment is under my purview. We use Naukri classified and hot vacancies to post our open jobs along with indeed, and in certain urgent cases offload the work to hiring agencies (we are an IT startup). I want to know what my fellow recruiters use to meet their hiring requirements. If you could share any tips and tricks to hire the right candidate given how challenging hiring can get for startups.
PS. I am relatively new to this field hence I welcome all help!

Dear,
I have worked with two start-up companies, its a challenge to hire for start-ups because we need to gain the trust of candidates to join our team.
Even its very difficult to convince candidate to come for an interview.
Using job portals can help a lot apart from job portals use your links.
Try to use social media to post jobs.
During interview try to have something (a small PPT about company's growth/brochure) which can give a positive feedback about the start-up.
Try to explain the growth pace of company as well as employees who will work with company.

Thanks so much Surbhi for sharing your views. I like your suggestion to show a PPT to potential candidates. That should help candidates get a better idea about our growth. Can you recommend any job portals apart from Naukri, Indeed and hirist? I have tried posting on fb groups but havent received much reply though.

Dear, You can try these portals 1 Naukri. 2 Monster India. 3 LinkedIn. 4 Shine. 5 TimesJobs. 6 Indeed. You can also hire recruitment agencies.
