Dear Tutors, Should all industries (IT/ITES/hotel/factories/shops) take fire & safety license for keeping fire extinguishers?
Recently one of the IT industry employing 25 resources in Chennai was inspected by labor officials asking license for keeping a fire extinguisher and gave the time limit to submit the same by next Wed, whereas we have asked the vendor whom we purchased said also not to know where to get.
Hence, please share your advice and where I am going to get a license if it needs to take.

The license of fire extinguisher is provided to the establishment, at the time of sales, and it needs to be refilled and renewed at annual intervals, after refilling CO2
The fire extinguisher vendor and refill making companies submit these documents with their registration no with FIRE& Safety Department, duly stamped, they also affix their hologram and date stickers on the equipment, that these are maintained and "good to use" till ............... (Date)
