In the Kerala Minimum Wage Notification 2020 for Computer Software sector, the monthly minimum wage is displayed as set of 5 numbers separated by hyphen.
GROUP A -Manager - 21330-450-23580-500-26080
If I understand correctly, 21330 is the minimum salary. What are the other numbers?
What does Service Weightage mean? Is 23580, in the above monthly minimum wage, the minimum wage for a manager with 5+ years of service?

The manager's scale starts with a basic pay of Rs. 21330 i.e., the lowest basic pay in that scale. After one year of satisfactory service an increment of Rs. 450 is earned making it to be Rs. 21780 and at the end of 2nd year with the addition of another increment the basic pay would be enhanced to Rs. 22230 and so on and after 5th year the basic pay would be Rs 23,580. Thereafter the rate of increment will be Rs. 500/- for the next five years. The salary for a fresh candidate is put at the minimum of the scale i.e., Rs. 21,330.

Service weightage by way of additional increment to a newly recruited Manager is given in lieu of the relevant experience in that post. The service weightage has to be negotiated and agreed at the time of selection. It generally does not follow the 1:1 formula i.e., one increment for every one year of service. It depends on the relative bargaining power of the candidate as well as the organisation. As a candidate with the experience of 5 years you should ask for five increments and try to persuade the recruitment team to agree to you
