Unless basic details of the difference or dispute between the parties is known, we can offer only some advice based on wild guesses on it. Nevertheless, try to interpret the disputed clause on the basis of common English, if it is in English or else in its language what does it imply commonly. (The golden rule of interpretation) Another method is to interpret the clause looking to the whole document, the version which gels with the rest of the clauses shall be preferred. Another approach could be the purposive approach, the interpretation which supports the purpose of the whole contract is to be preferred rather than the one which goes against it. If there is no consensus even after using these methods arbitration by a mutually agreeable arbitrator shall be tried.
