Dear Member
The death date is December 2018 and in December 2020 the query is posted, whereas the employer has to update the EPFO immediately about the death,
now you have also annexed the tst of rules, so what exactly is found by the practicing HR of establishment? and to what extent they extended help to the family of deceased?
now coming to abstract, as the member has not completed even 1 year, so the death will be subject to scrutiny, and 1.5 lacs would may be granted by EPF on account of EPS claim, provided the claim found legible and complete in all contexts

Respected sir ,
EDLI claim summited on 16/12/19 & passed by EPFO on 07/12/20
EDLI claim amount : 1507+1507 (both nominee account mother & father ) when i asked to EPFO how to calculate EDLI death claim they reply me " member's service less then 12 month, paid the EDLI benefit as per rule calculated by system." is this right answer by EPFO ?

Dear Member
picture does not get clear with your post and reply, if the member joined in december 2018, and his contribution was paid within TIME, KYC done within his alive status and nomination filed when he was alive, also the employer had to submit the exit with reason DEATH, within 2 days of incident,
if all above procedure is done as mentioned above, then it will get a different picture,
ask the employer and hr department compliance , in date-wise format, if available then post again, because in short service death, and belated compliance, basic insurance is tough to get settled
