A daughter is a member of the family as defined in the EPF Act 1952 and hence can be nominated. As per EPS '95 in the event of death of the employee the widow gets pension for her life time and children upto the age of 25 years unless handicapped. When the employee has family (spouse
and or children) nomination cannot be made outside the family.

and above all the spouse is 1st nominee, but the member has potion to divide the pension between spouse and minor children, however on achieving maturity of child their part would be auto switched off,
