Shruti Naidu
Hello to HR professionals, seniors and freshers,
I am Shruti, currently pursuing my PGDM in Human Resource Management from a university in Canada. I have bachelors in Commerce from India. I am in my last semester of the program. I will be settling in India after my graduation in Canada. I would like to ask all senior HR professionals and upcoming HR professionals that, will I be able to land a decent job in India? Is my Canadian HR degree valuable in India? I have no intention of settling anywhere other than in India, but I am doubting my decision because of very, very limited job opportunities that are, in India. I have been searching for entry level jobs in HR field but all I get recommended by job portals is, that my CV is suitable for Customer support and voice process jobs. And, I have been receiving emails for Customer support, voice process, tele calling and chat process jobs ONLY. Well, as a fresher I feel that, irrespective of whatever degree I have from anywhere around the globe, only jobs am getting called are for customer support or tele calling jobs. Will I be able to work in HR department as an entry level employee (HR trainee, HR executive, HR assistant or Recruitment assistant) under HR professionals guidance? Or just drop my hopes JUST BECAUSE I am a fresher? It will be of great help if anyone would suggest me on where and how should I search for HR entry level jobs. Thank you in advance!
