Dear Experts, My shop exceeded 20 employees in Apr-18 and had 6 employees having a salary of less than 21000. For the period Apr-18 to march 19 I was unregistered, but in Apr-19 took ESIC registration. So please guide me about penalties and other consequences for the period Apr-18 to March 19.
Is there any relief for the unregistered period?

@TMayur
The person who applied for ESIC registration had filled all details, viz date of exceeding the employees i.e coverage date, and department must have issued the registration from that date only
There is no notification for existing establishments for any type of relief under ESIC

Hi,
There is no such provision in ESIC , you should inform immediately to ESIC dept when your employees exceeded the number , now you need to pay the pending payment to ESIC and you can see the amount in ESIC portal.
