I resigned from my Company on 1 st Oct. Official Notice Period is 3 months. in My resignation I had requested early release due to health issue. After following up I got a reply from HR stating "This is to inform you that we have received your email and we are awaiting inputs from your Lead / Manager. We shall schedule further discussion soon."
Now HR says for early release you will have to pay a recovery amount (verbally). I said I am ready to serve the rest of the 2 months notice period. HR never officially replied to my Resignation clearly stating I will have to pay and indicating the last working day. I also have never confirmed I am ready to pay a buyout amount (I only requested based on health issue).
On 28 Oct, HR asked me to give a Medical Certificate Stating Unfit to work. and on that basis they are relieving me on 2 nov. where as I said on Call I am ready to serve notice period.
HR stated "please be informed that on mutual consent, Company is waiving off your remaining notice period."
When I asked HR do you have any email/Proof saying I am ready for early release( I stated clearly I am ready to serve the remaining notice Period).
Also asked HR why it took you 1 month to reply to resignation and in 2 days you are relieving me. and Reply I got to this was "Its our Process"
Without any Email/valid proof can a Company relieve me saying "mutual consent" ??
