Hi All,
Can someone please help me to draft a short message on how to ask a former employee if he wants to come back working with us?
He was leaving with a good note. No red flag. Left because offered a better opportunity from other company and we want him back and offer him with a different role.
I can't think of the nice and encouraging way to express it. Kindly help if you have something in mind!
Thank you!

Dear Lita Damayanti,
Reemployment of the exited employees is common. It has happened in the past and it will continue to happen in the future too. However, since the organisation is bigger, it should always enjoy a whip hand. In the of ex-employee in question, your company officials must have called him and a face-to-face discussion must have happened.
Therefore, ask the ex-employee to put up an application for reemployment at a different role.
Once you receive the application, get it approved by the competent authority and then convey a message of approval which is nothing but an "Offer Letter".
Thanks,
