Hello Experts,
I have a total work experience of 5 years and have worked in 2 companies so far. I am currently looking out for a job and luckily I got through a top IT company. On my day of joining is the first time I came to know about this issue with my relieving in my first company. The scenario is, I worked for a vendor company and I was under their payroll. When I relieved from this company there were difference in the notice period being served between my vendor company and the original company, like 30 days of notice which I served for my vendor company and got properly relieved. However the original company since they had 60 days, considered my account was active and paid my salary for additional month. I am being honest, I never thought the amount credited to be salary as I have resigned and considered the amount to be some final settlement.
The above situation is now hindering my dream to work for a top IT company as the background verification considers me to be absconded though I have a proper reliving letter from vendor company. I request your suggestion and advice as I am completely lost and helpless in the situation and my career is at stake.
