Dear All,
What is the average rate of attrition of HR PROFESSIONALS in industries. As a HR person it is the responsibility of an HR guy to control the attrition. But the HR professionals move more to industries why? Your comments are appreciable!.
Thanks

I agree with the fact that hr person should control attrition. But then even a HR is also an employee. It dosent mean that he should stick to a company even if he is not satisfied with hid job. Every individual will look for job satisfaction. we as HR's always try to give that to the employees but then who will care for our Job Satisfaction?. NO BODY. So, we also some times try to change our jobs. and that is reasonable i believe. Its just my opinion. am sorry if am wrong.

before only I had pointed out the attrition of HR , and the members had heated debate on this.. no one accepted this, and told its NORMAL. whereas when other employees leave they term attrition, just a trick to survive and save ur head. when u do its need, and necessity, and when others do its job jumping and attrition.
check out my old posts , you will find the topic.

Dear Mr.Ravi,
I don't know what was the comments for your previous one. Please let me know.
If the HR people feels the satisfaction level of their own. Then this is the responsibility of the HR to takecare of the satisfaction level of other employees...

U are right but HR does not properly take care of satisfaction level of other employees... so the other employees resign....
and HR instead of taking the blame puts the blame on employees.

Hi Friends
As some of the members have truly said that even an HR guy is also an employee and have all the rights to change his job when he /she is not satisfied with the present job....
But if an HR guy starts hopping out jobs just for the sake of getting good money, thats definitely a wrong practice. After all we all HR guys have that analytical sense wherein we can analyse any company before getting into it, there are very less chances that our decision of joining any organization ends up in a mess.
So these are two different scenarios with different has different impacts a shows the characteristics of the HR guy.
Guys pour in more thoughts on this!!!!
Cheers

:idea:Thiru..
All are human beings this is very unfair to treat HR persons different..They are like other employees..
-They have future plans
-they have personal life
-they have to face everything in life/office which you face
....nothing special.
This will be good if you have some data wrt to higher rate of job rotation about HR.Then we can discuss....otherwise this is of no use to discuss.
Thanks for putting such a no use topic.

Dear Thiru,
As per my knowledge, HR is meant for handling human resource!!!, means the people with heads (Brain). It's very easy to manage any resource than human resource. So, there must be attrition in HR also due to many reasons. But, i'm sorry that i dont know the exact attrition rate.
