Hi, I worked for one of the top 4 IT Company (service-based) of India. I have resigned in the month of may and served my full notice period of 3 months. I left the company last month. I have received all documents(Relieving letters etc) and the final settlement amount. However, there was a dispute (Final settlement amount) in my leave encashment, due to a change in policy. There was a new policy implemented starting from July 1st. And as per the new policy, Employees who resigned after July 1st will be entitled to get only basic pay as leave encashment during the final settlement.

However, As per the mail communication sent (mail was sent in the month of June) they mentioned only the resignation date.

Since I resigned in the month of May. I should be eligible with an old leave encashment policy (it include basic pay + other basket allowances).

Now, they are saying that they are considering my last working day and hence I will be entitled with a new leave policy.

I have dropped multiple emails on this, but haven't got a proper reply from them.

How do I proceed further? As I strongly believe i have been cheated here.

Kindly advise.
