Percentage for calculating basic pay+da for pf calculation
Hello all i am working in an it company we have just enrolled for pf wanted to know of what percentage should i keep basicda of the ctc. in my previous company we used to consider : 3550 as basicda 40 of basic as hra 12 of basic as pfda employer contribution rest the components proportionally now the pf agent of my current company is asking to take minimum 50 of ctc as basicda for pf computation. please let me know can i consider 35 of ctc as basic payda for calculating pf.

Help needed on special incentives
Hi folks i have designed a salary structure. gross income special allowance is calculated to adjust the difference. other are calculated on percentage basis. net income gross incomedeductions. i want to know if we are giving a special reward to an employee in a month how the calculation can be shown with out disturbing the above one and how will it appear in the pay slip?
Da should be shown in pay slip for all cadre or in hra (including the amount of da)?
In our organisation we follow the policy that da is applicable only till assistant managers cadre and from manager cadre onwards we don t show/give da but it will reflect in hra including the amount of da. is this correct method/policy or should we have hra & da for all cadre of employee. for eg: an employee who is in the post of executive director/director our pay slip will have basic pay other allowances gross pay. is this correct or suggest me which is correct. can you send pay slip format. employees are covered under pf & esi.
