Communication Skills clearly is one of the most effective skills you can cultivate right now. Effective communication skills are fundamental to success in many aspects of life. Nowadays, many jobs require strong communication skills. Those who have good communication skills usually enjoy better interpersonal relationships with friends and family.

In order to develop your communication skills, one must start following these steps:-

Be a good listener:- “Listen more than you talk.” To communicate effectively, first listen to what others have to say. Then you can provide a thoughtful answer that shows you have taken those ideas into account.

Start communicating with people:- Be it in your family, friends, teachers or any other person you know. Try to build a relationship with people so that you are able to answer that person very well.

Studying and Understanding Non-Verbal Communication:- Much of any message is communicated non-verbally. Some estimates suggest that this may be as much as 80% of communication.

Record important presentations:- You must record your presentations in order to see your mistakes and to see where you need to work on.

Use mobile phone:- If you get stuck somewhere, take the help of google assistant.

Body language:- You must learn the power of body language to be an effective communicator.

Think before you speak:- Always pause before you speak, not saying the first thing that comes to mind. Take a moment and pay close attention to what you say and how you say it. This one habit will allow you to avoid embarrassments.

Maintain a positive attitude and smile:- Even when you are speaking on the phone, smile because your positive attitude will shine through and the other person will know it.
