One of our colleague met with an accident while on duty and took rest for 8 months as accident on duty leace. so my query is , is he entitle for E/L accumalation during that 8 months rest as accident on duty leave?

No Earned Leave will be payable for non working days, The Basis of this narration according to Factory Act , Definition of Continuous Services etc etc

He is not entitled for any E/L during the rest period of 8 months.
Please refer to the definition of E/L - as per Factories Act, E/L is the leave earned by employee
by performing regular duty at factory. For every 20 days of working, 1 day is the E/L.
Without working how he can earn Leave?
