Salary Deduction During Lockdown

I worked in a company during the lockdown period. The company deducted my salary from 25th March to 31st March 2020. The company issued my curfew pass for fieldwork, but I received it on 2nd April 2020.

When I asked my manager, "Why was my salary deducted even though I worked from home and reported properly?" he mentioned that they issued the pass on 25th March and shared it with me on WhatsApp. He also mentioned that "Kejriwal, the Delhi CM, approved your salary" and he has recordings.

However, the Delhi police did not allow any movement without a physical copy of the pass. Since I didn't have the contact information for the company's human resources, I directly contacted the company owner on Twitter to inquire about the salary deduction on 29th April 2020.

After this incident, they terminated my employment on the same day without any inquiry, warning, or hearing my side, citing serious misconduct. They also served me a notice of defamation for Rs. 1,000,000 and withheld my salary from 25th March to 29th April 2020.

I have lodged a complaint with the Labour Department in Delhi. Due to the lockdown, the interactions with the company manager have been solely telephonic. The manager mentioned to the department that this is a matter of serious misconduct.

I possess several call recordings of my manager and WhatsApp chats where he refused to acknowledge my reports and pressured me to work on a reduced salary, even though I was working in the field, not from home.
