Case 1 : If a manufacturing company's productions is very less due to some maintenance issue and they wants to meet their weekly target for sales as per their requirement, so they had decided to work on holiday like any holiday or sunday, So HR needs to submit any letter to Inspector of Factories ?

Even though they didnt submitted letter to the inspector of factories, what are all the problems faces by the company legally in future from the authorities.

Sales people are field staff and they will not come under the purview of Factories Act. Therefore, they can work according to their choice. Overtime work is not applicable to them unlike workers employed within the boundaries of the factory. Therefore, inspectors of factories will not raise any objection.
