Hi, On 12th March (as per 30 DAYS) I put my resignation because I got a new offer from another company or due to lock-down I continued job i.e work from home in current company. On May 07th May i received call from new company that you have to join on 20th May. Now the company deny to give Reliving Letter online even they already accepted my resignation or my work completed. As already communicated to my reporting boss. My current company told me that after lock-down only they will provide reliving letter. Please help or advice on this.

First you discuss/mail with your new employer, whether they are ready give you joining in absence of relieving letter from the present employer. Ask the new employer to communicate you in writing. On getting the confirmation from the new employer, send your letter to your present employer to issue relieving letter as you had resigned, always try to complete or buyout the notice period to stay safe.

Due to Covid-19 pandemic I believe you are in the safe zone in the cited issue. You can inform your prospective employer, the feed back given by your current employer; you can check with them whether you shall be permitted to join by giving an undertaking/declaration that you shall be submitting your relieving letter, as soon as you receive relieving letter, after lifting of lock down period. Alternatively, you insist on a resignation acceptance letter from your current employer, and submit to your new employer.
How did your current employer communicate to you regarding issuance of relieving letter? If it is written communication, submit a copy of such communication to your new employer.

Hope you have completed your notice period as mentioned in your appointment letter.
Apart from what seniors suggested, I would recommend to get an email confirmation from current employer where they mention that reliving letter will be given on so and so date.
