Hello,
There is no definitions of the term employee given under the Partnership Act.
The Partnership Act gives the details / ways in which an establishment can be incorporated or a Form of establishment only, and the detail procedure for registering the same. i.e. giving it Legal sanctity. It does not govern the Employment under the said PArtnership
Depending upon the kind of Partnership that is formed for the nature of Business , the Establishment /Factory /Industry (The Partnership) will be goverend by respective laws eg: Shops & establishment Act, Payment of Wages Act, Factories Act, IDA, Etc....
Hope this clarifies your doubts.
Regards

Dear Colleague,
The definition of various categories of employees you are looking for are covered in the Model Standing Orders which are part of the Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act/Rules. Please refer to it.
As rightly pointed out, the Partnership Act does not deal with it.
