Hope everyone is safe right now and in best of the health. Looking at current lockdown across country, how you see the recruitment scenario post lockdown? May be something after June 2020. Which sectors will see upward trend in terms of recruitment and which one will see downward trend?
Pls share your thoughts.

Hi
Looking at the current lockdown situation in the World our Economy is affecting alot and this causes bad impact on all sectors especially in recruitment as well, as small companies are not able to sustain and doing layoffs in their organizations. So cant comment on when this situation will be over. But if you want to know about the sectors so in my opinion IT sectors and Pharma doesnt have much affect on their business.

Hello Richa Madam,
Yes, you are right, recruitment and training industry is going to get hamper a lot, looking at the current scenario I feel that people will avoid changing jobs specially by changing city, so new opportunities will really be less.
Yes, IT and Pharma may see good demand but there also we will see lots and lots of competition, as per per my personal opinion I don't see recruitment picking up till September/October 2020.
Lets hope for the best and pray almighty that he saves all from this Pandemic and cure those who are suffering.

IT and Pharma will be on prime move . FMCG segment will be as stable as it caters the basic needs.
WFH Associates/ Executives will be new job designation especially in IT segment .
Lets hope for the best and stay positive

Yes Manishaji, the work from home style position will surely increase in coming days, this might give boost to 3rd party payroll services and will also help in saving cost incurred towards infrastructure setup.
Though all sectors can't adapt this methodology but still many will look for such options for cost saving and productivity increase.

The main industry that will get affected because of the lockdown is the recruitment industry. The candidates won’t change their jobs and say yes to new/better opportunities. There could be chances that work from home will be in trend after the lockdown. Most of the sectors will suffer because of lockdown and there would be less or no jobs available. These sectors might be looking for other strategies to save the cost or manage the hiring process. And there are some sectors such as IT and pharma that will have no effect on their business. The recruitment industry will get stable after September and that’s a positive thing for the candidates.

Right, recruitment industry is going to suffer a lot, I don't think recruitment will start smoothly before Diwali, unless there is very important position to be filled. Even training and development is also going to suffer just like recruitment as that is another area in which companies will stop investing till next financial year.

As a ceo of a recruitment company i wont same it is a good time so far for we the recruiters

negatives if we discuss no interviews,no job fair no offline placement trainings and we cant conduct 100% placement assured online programs also and many industries are coming up with a decision to hold new hires for a minimum period of six months

but there are positives too as there will be lot of companies which may focus much into digital marketing and hiring opportunities in these fields will increase

the sectors like private banking, insurance etc are still highly operative and started telephonic interviews for their up coming positions

recruiters may focus on collecting maximum local profiles with the restricted travel opportunities which is expected to continue for a larger period

and candidates are also in a hurry to take up whatever opportunities comes in their way as there is an uncertainty among all about the after covid situation

online and social media platforms can be very much utilized by recruiters for describing the upcoming changes or hr strategies etc

online training platforms are very active
