Dear Members, I just need a Clarification on the following Issue

Mr. X Was non-executive and he worked in company for years and was drawing a basic of 25600/-

He was promoted to the post of Executive in E2 Grade with a basic scale pay of 24900-50500 in 2007

Later in 2015 he got promotion in to E3 grade with a basic scale pay of 29100-54500

Common date for annual increment was April 1st

Increment is 3%

Later in 2019, there was a court order to treat these promoted Executives at par with recruited executives (as recruited E2 Executives are place in E2 grade after successful completion of one year)

Now this promoted executives was deemed to be placed in E2 in 2007 and Deemed to be placed in E3 from 2008

My Question is where we have to provide the promotional increment? or as it is deemed placement... we shall not provide any increment???

You have to provide 3% increments on all deemed placement/promotion dates notionally from the date of effective in different grades.
