India: State govt releases revised minimum wage notification on (for ex: 19/11/2019 & w.e.f. is 1/7/2019) In this case is there any time limits / deadlines within which employer has to adhere & pay mw ?

Dear Ramesh,
Revised minimum wages come into effect on the date of notification or the effective date mentioned therein. If the effective date is the earlier one as mentioned in the post, it implies retrospective implementation. In such a situation, the employer is required to comply with immediately by paying arrears along with the revised rates during the disbursal of wages for the current wage period.
In case of postponement for whatever reason it would be certainly construed as non-compliance and may result in filing of claims u/s 20 of the MWA,1948 by the Inspector, workmen or trade union and result in recovery with penalty of 10 times.
