Hello,
I have a Query. Currently we have provided Work from Home to a lot of employees. Due to corona virus panic few employees had already applied for a paid leave to go to home town and few employees cannot come to office due to lock down even to pick up their laptops. How to manage salary for these cases.
On one side employees are working from home and other side employees are at home on leave. so how to pay salary to these people who are at home.
i would like to know what others are doing?
Also if we pay full salary to people who are on leave wouldnt it be unfair for employees who are working from Home?

Hi All - We are a BPO, now we have a Policy of Working from Home for some supervisory staff but CSR's can not all be put at work from home due to technical and logistical limitations. Govt has stated that Salary of Employess should not be deducted for the time they are not asked to come to work due to Lockdown till 15 April. Will the company have to compulsarily pay the Employees, how will it work that it complies with Govt. directive.

Hello All,
I am working in a manufacturing company, they give work from home for staff members, but 50% of staffs they didnot provide any laptop/pc/internet, and as i am working in hr department, they did not assign any work/task to me, they said that learn something new for company, read books, and many things yo do from home. Now they change the strategy, if any one have no internet they forcefully ask for reports, if someone send report for 5/6 hours working, they warn that they will cut the salary or mark half lwp and so many thing i did not explain socially.
Please suggest any suitable solution for this

Hello!
I am working as a HR Manager with a Digital Agency. We have given work from them to all. I was looking for an application which can track their productivity and i can across with this software - "FLOW" this is really a cheap software for startup and mid level firms. This software automatically tracks all the work which an employee is doing on the laptop otr phone. for eg if a person is writing a code on certain project this apps tracks howmuch time it took him to write thar code. It also help us to know what one is researching on google without breacing privacy on any employee. In case you want to know more about the software you can reach me at

I am working in a railway construction company as HR & Admin Officer in Gujarat. Nowadays situation is too critical due to recent Coronavirus Outbreak in country. Being a construction company it is difficult to work from home or from company accomodation since in construction industry most of the work are labour intensive and field or site basis, so, difficult to execute the work.Is that company employee like engineer, site supervisor or other supportive staff eligible for salary payment?

Hi, I am working for a small IT company. Total size of the manpower if only 22. All are working from home due to the corona situation. Management wants a daily work report from everybody to show that all are visible and viable. Under this situation, as an HR person how I can ensure my work report daily basis since HR works are almost qualitative. Can anybody suggest what HR functions should I continue during this home period?
