Extension of notice period
Hello everyone.. i am in a trouble. i resigned from hcl and is serving the 3 months notice period now. i will complete the 3 months notice on 15 apr. but now my manager wants to assign me a task which i wont be able to finish before 15 apr. he says i have to finish this before 15 apr otherwise he will increase the notice period by one more month. he is not ready to talk says talk to me after the result. i find this unproffessional and unethical. as far as i know it is not possible for him to do this as i am serving the whole 3 months notice period. please advice on how should i tackle the issue.
Should we hold salary of employees who have resigned & are serving notice period?
In a typical case with an mnc they have a clause written in their appointment letter with respect to notice period in case of resignation. during training or probation the notice period is 15 days & post confirmation the notice period is 90 days. my question is that in case if a confirmed employee having notice period of 90 days resigns then is it necessary to hold his salary fully / partial until he completes his notice period? in case if we do not hold salary & the employee leaves without notice & without completing the notice period then what can be done in such case?
Short notice acceptance from manager but hr not giving me clearance - what should i do now?
Hi my notice period is 3 months but i got a better opportunity from another company and they want me to join max to max 1 month. after discussions with my manager & it they are giving me clearance mail on the basis of mail i am joining the new company in the meantime i was serving my resignation letter to our hr but they are not giving me clearance. even they are holding my last twomonth salary as well as pf. please suggest what should i do now.

Hi seniors please help me out in the below issue. i m in a very worse situation i have been an employee of a certain company. i joined that company as a fresher. i worked for that company for more than 2 years. in my company the employee need to serve notice period of 45 days. but i was short of my notice period by 30 days. i informed my employer about this that i would be serving notice period of 14 days. but they refused and i even asked for buying out my notice period. but they didnt agree to it. as i was having a job at my hand and they were having a urgent requirement i didnt serve my whole notice period. now after 1 month my current employer is asking for a relieving letter. when i went to my previous company they say they wont give any relieving letter to me and on the other hand they wont give any other alternative to me. they say in their record i m an absconder and i ve been terminated. it needs to be mentioned that they conducted my exit interview. in my company they send an absconding letter but till yet i vent recieved any letter from the company. they say they ve sent the absconding letter to me. can anyone help me out in this case. can anybody advise whether i can get my relieving letter from my previous employer. or can i take legal actions against the company. please answer to this question. my career is on stake...

Not disclosing serving notice period
I was asked to resign from my company there were massive layoffs happening on 31st march 2015.even though at the time of joining in may 2013 there was a provision of 2 months notice period the company immediately wanted us to leave without serving the notice period.in lieu of serving notice period they would provide with work experience certificate till may 2015. now i have not disclosed this fact in the interviews that i have attended at prospective employers.is there any risk in that ?
