Hello Experts, Actually i have a query regarding HRA Calculation.
Is there any fix % for HRA or shall i keep 40% considering non metropolitan city.
As HRA is excluded from PF can an employer keep high % as HRA.

Answer is simply "no ". Upto 15,000/- Basic it should not be more than 25% (appx) of monthly gross and better to keep monthly gross to be restricted only two components - Basic & HRA. Please read Supreme Court Verdict on PF Gross in Feb,2019 and definition of wage ( yet to be implemented ) from Wage Code.
