Hi , I am working in an organisation from more than 8 years but the organization is denying to pay the maternity benefit. they provide only if we fall under ESI . What is the exact rules and what is action i can take against them. i don't want to go legally as i still want to continue with them due to time flexibility. Please suggest...
If you Employer is covered under MB Act then he is supposed sanction Maternity Benefit Act. In case employer denies to sanction you can represent to Assistant Commissioner of Labour of your jurisdiction. No other go you need to address it legally.
