Dear All,
I want to know about notice pay deduction. For Example if an employee has resigned and he is absent for 7 days in his notice period and his gross is 30000. His resignation date is 8/12/19 and last working day is 8/01/2020 but in this 1 month period he has taken 7 leaves and that is deducted from his salary (Salary register). Do we need to calculate and deduct it again for notice period deduction in full and final settlement?

If he is eligible for the seven days leave and the leave is authorised, you should not deduct his salary. Why you are so stringent with an exiting employee by refusing the leave for which he is entitled just because he is on notice period? Deducting salary for the leave taken which is unauthorised and again deducting the same amount under the pretext of shortfall in notice period served amounts to double jeopardy.
