Increment clause is not mentioned in the appointment letter
Hi i am working in a company as a consultant for the last 3 years. my total contract period is 5 years. in the beginning the company has given me a individual consultant agreement. in the agreement they didn t mention about increment. now after three years when i am asking for the increment the hr people are saying that there is no such clause in the agreement hence they can t give the increment. now my question is shall i eligible for the increment. what sort of action i need to take if the company rejecting the increment. kindly advise.

Dear seniors/ hr fraternity i d like to start this discussion today as we have approached the end of april 12 where in we d have decided as to what salary hike to be given to our employees. i d like to take your valuable comments so as to understand how i can go ahead with salary hikes for my manufacturing company in tamilnadu that employs about 47 people. the company was started 2 years back and has already given an increment once.though the company is still not doing well and is going need some more time to break even we have decided to give increments to our workers and staff. i d need your kind suggestions on the following. 1. is increment mandatory every year as per factories act or minimum wages act?. in our case our company is only 2 years old that is yet to see its profits. do new companies have an exemption to give salary increments like we have exemption of bonuses for a period of 5 years for startups? 2. what is the normal salary increment in a manufacturing industry in your region and how it s arrived? 3. an average salary in our company is rs.10000 for workers having 10 years experience. if we wish to give an increment how should it be reflecting on the salary components like basicda hra etc in a way that doesn t place burden on the company. please give your valuable suggestions. thanks rk

Hi please help me to ask my boss for salary increment. actually in july 2017 i met with an accident due to that i had resigned my job. again in july 2018 i have rejoined it is nearly 1 year now. before i resign my salary was 15000/m still they are giving same. i want to ask my boss personally good evening sir with all due respect i humbly like to bring a request for salary increment. as you know my salary has remained the same since i was rejoined. kindly requesting you to give me an increment in my salary. thank you for your time. hope to hear positively from you with regard to considering my salary increment request. i want mention that before and after salary is same.

Dear seniors good morning i need some suggestions from you. i have done mba in hrm & marketing management. i have one year experience in hr & admin. presently i am working in pharmaceuticals company as a executive in hr & admin. on my joining during salary negotiation my boss said that he will give increment after 3 months. i waited 6 months but no increment. after the copletion of 6 months i talked to my boss about my increment then he said that send email me about your increment request. i have sent to him. i have sent mail before october salary. but there is no action. again i started waiting but still i did t get any increment in november salary. i analyse one thing that my boss gives increment to those people who are regularly asking about their increments & who put their resignation in front of him. i feel liitle shame to ask again & again about increment. i am helpless. please suggest me right way. i want to write a letter to him. please suggest me what can i write in that letter. waiting for your advice.
