Employment agreement on plain paper - legal?
Hi we are a small sized it company with 50 people in strength. while recruiting new employees we ensure that they sign a minimum 1 year employment agreement with us. this agreement is on plain white paper not company letter head not bond paper and we make them sign their initials on each page and their full signature left hand thumb print on the last page. today two of our employees who have served 7 months of their agreement have told that they want to leave the company. i told them that they are expected to serve the minimum 12 month contract as they agreed when they joined. however they do not intend to stay for that long. what are the options that i have. is the plain paper employment agreement a valid legal document? can i not give them the work experience certificate? when their new company calls me for a background check what all can i tell them? thanks for your help in advance experts.
Employment agreement - employees quitting when they become useful and affordable
Hi i am ismail it is seen that many organisation making an employment agreement with newly joined employee to stay in organization for 5 years or 10 years. my question is it necessary to make any agreement after giving an appointment letter to the employee mentioning the condition and take agreed copy from employee. actually i think appointment letter is an agreement . so there is no need to make any other agreement except appointment letter. i know bond labour is prohibited. but some of employees are quitting job frequently . when company occurred some investment for him/her like giving salary training conveyance etc when they are new they could not affordable for organisation. when they become affordable for organisation they are switching their job in that case bond is bond labour permitted. if permitted what should be the format of employment agreement . what should be the compensation for organisation. please clarify
Employment agreement and offer letter
Dear members my query is regarding the employment agreement that needs to be signed by each employee prior to joining company. in most of the organizations this agreement is furnished at the time of joining when the employee has already resigned and is performing the joining formalities. is it the correct time? applying the rules of natural justice i feel that the employee does not have much choice at the time of joining except than to sign whether he agree with the terms or not instead this agreement should be furnished with the offer letter so that he may choose to join or not at the time of considering the offer itself. please suggest.

Hello friends i joined my current it company overseas 1.5 years back on indian offer. i think my situation is bit complicated so describing below. as usual offer letter has following conditions under the clause \"restrictive covenant\" 1 for a period of two years after the employment you will not directly or indirectly solicit take up employment with any person company during a period of two years 2 you shall not takeup employment employment directly or indirectly with such customers on behalf of yourself or any other firms or company apart from this they issued a deputation letter suggesting \"your deputation for the execution of order received from customer a\" there is one more condition under the caluse \"miscellanious\" in deputation letter: while working on the assignment and for a period of tow years after the completion of the assignment you shall not take or do any business with customer without a written permission from the company.

An agreement (sort of warning letter)
Dear all i need an agreement sort of warning letter. actually in my comapny we can not give warning letter for the first mistake. thats why my boss has asked me to issue an agreement kind of thing in which that employee confirms that he will not do this again and his mistakes also need to be mentioned in the agreement. that agreement will be issued by hr director and that needs to be signed by the employee.. can u please help me out in this. because i know about warning letters or termination letters but this type of agreement i have never made. please help me out in this.. waiting for same thank you shweta
