Correction in ESIC generated challan - mistake in number of days. Can I correct this mistake?

Sir, When I generated the ESIC monthly challan for the employees in my office, I wrongly entered the number of working days of an employee as 31 days instead of 23. I entered the gross salary for 23 days which is correct. Only the mistake is in number of days. Can I correct this mistake? If so, how should I proceed? Please advice at the earliest. Thanking you.

reduction is not possible though the number of days does not effect the employer if the employee is continued in next month, and is not on medical leave
