Employer stated absconding on relieving letter
Hi team my wife has sent resignation email to the hr and employer and she informed them that she can not serve the notice period. and she left the organization at the end of the day. after that there was no communication from hr no show cause letter no termination letter no other notice letter on her address or on email id. also they did not asked to buy out the notice period. now after few months she went and asked for the service certificate they have provided the same also but they mentioned on it as absconding. now we have told them that this is not absconding case and if you want we are ready to pay two months salary as per their company\'s rule and code of conduct. but they are not replying on it and ignoring it. thanks
Policy suggestions to deal with absconding employees - the right practice?
I have been given a task to prepare a new absconding process for our company. the company where i work is very salesdriven. often agents take their salary and then go absconding. as such now we have this absconding policy whereby we get an absconding agents list from the sales manager. then we call those agents and if they don t answer the call we send them a show if they do send a reply saying they cannot join us for reasons mentioned by them or if they don t reply we treat them as absconding employees. thereafter we deactivate their official id. so kindly help me with the new absconding process because according to the new head this is not the right practice.
Was asked to serve the notice period of 1 month - clarified that i won't be able to serve but still termed absconding
Hi all i have resigned from an it company after working for a year followed the official process that is resigned from the company s portal resignation got accepted by hr. i had a word with hr and was asked to serve the notice period of 1 month. i clarified that i won t be able to serve the same instead requested them to not process my payment for the notice period but they didn t agree and sent an email to me informing me that they will be treating my case as absconding. i am not sure if this is absconding so kindly help me in clarifying if this is a case of absconding and if serving notice period is necessary as many of my colleagues too resigned without serving the notice period.
Employee absconding - email format stating no further f&f or service letter will be provided
Hi team i am looking for an email format or a notice that can be sent to an employee who sends an email to management team stating that he/she no longer wish to continue working and to accept this email as immediate resignation. as per policy we cannot accept immediate resignation and this will be considered as a abscond case with no further f&f or service letter will be provided. i want the employees to resign by serving proper 30 days notice period and not abscond. kindly assist me with a email format stating the same and in case there is any pending salary amount for the days worked till date it will not be released and marked as recovery amount.
Absconding case from it company
Hi once i had joined in an it company. there i was given very crap work to do. the notice period was 2 months also in probation period. i left the company in 1 month without informing anybody. i wrote a mail to the hr after leaving. this happened 1 year back. the company didn t give me form 16 for that one month period because i hadn t cleared the notice amount. what would happen now ? can the company take legal action against me ? if taken what would be the result ? i have come across so many absconding cases...do the companies take action against them ? is there any rule that company can recover notice amount from the employee by taking legal actions ? please help.

In absconding case we require your advice. employee is absconding from organisation so company hr send him first notice letter but employee do not respond to letter. after this hr sends him 2nd letter and when no respond from employee then company terminate employee marking reason as absconding and send termination letter with notice period recovery to employee. this time employee responds to letter and clear his notice period dues and ask for reliving letter. assuming there is clause in appointment letter which says if either party wants to end contract then they have to serve 1 month notice or salary in lieu. there is no issue in notice period clause now questions are following: 1 is it legal and right for company to ask for recovery of notice period in absconding cases? please provide reason. 2 in above case after clearing notice period dues is employee entitled for reliving letter? why? 3 how absconding termination is different from other terminations from notice period angle
