How to change my career from placements to HR?

Hi,
I am Placement Head in a reputed technical training institute . I wish to change my career to HR fully?
Please advice how I will brush my HR skills. I am a Master in HR , but lost HR touch for 6 years doing marketing and placements , please advice.
