Union Territories and Compliance Rules
What about the Union Territories that have adopted the rules of neighboring States, like Chandigarh adopting Punjab Rules? Do we assume that the Central Ease of Compliance to Maintain Registers under various Labour Laws Rules, 2017 will be applicable to all UTs?

Dear Member,
If UT Chandigarh has adopted the Punjab Rules, then in our opinion, they are not required to follow The Ease of Compliance to Maintain Registers under various Labour Laws Rules, 2017. For other Union Territories, one needs to examine the applicability of labour laws, i.e., Central or State. If they are following the Central Rules, then this ease of compliance will be applicable.
