Hi, can anyone help me with whom the letter for permission for overtime should be addressed? Also, if we receive a stamp from the labor office on our letter, does it mean that we can start the overtime facility?

The post is very ambiguous as it doesn't indicate the law under which the permission for overtime work is sought by the poster's establishment. That apart, getting the stamp of the receiver's office on the letter seeking some sort of permission cannot be treated that the permission sought out is sanctioned unless there's a statutorily deeming provision. At the most, it can be treated as an acknowledgement only.
