Search for "Age Withdrawal Emplyoyes Provident Fund Gratuity Pension"

In employees pension fund scheme the age is 58 years. but for provident fund no age is fixed. that means an employee who has attained the age of 58 ceases to be a member of pension scheme. at the same time if an employee joins an organisation after 58 years as there is no retirement age in private sector unless otherwise provided in the standing orders and if such an employee had not been a member of employees provident fund earlier then he will be covered and he has to contribute to pf. in such cases the employer will contribute the entire 12 to his epf account and not as 8.33 to pension fund and the remaining 3.67 to provident fund. in the similar way if a member of provident fund who has withdrawn his pf accululations on attaining the age of 58 and or who is in receipt of pension from the employees provident fund organisation joins a company he will be exempted from contribution. regards madhu.t.k

Query on pension fund transfer/withdrawal
Hi this is a query on pension fund transfer/withdrawal. my total experience is 9 years. i have joined my current organization around 2 years back and this is my third company. after joining to this organization i have initiated the epf transfer request from my previous organizations to the current one. and the amount got transfer successfully. but my epassbook in site epfo govt. of india shows only the provident fund epf has been transferred. so here is my query: 1. is it possible that i can transfer the pension fund from previous organization to current one? if yes then what is the procedure? 2. is it compulsory to withdraw the pension fund when i change the company? if yes then what is the procedure for withdrawal? thanks vipin

Employers contribution to pension fund
I was employed with a private sector bank where my employer s contribution of provident fund was contributed to pension fund. as per 1995 pension rules all bank employees under iba pay scale are having compulsory pension. as per the directives of the law we didn t have option of taking employers contribution in the provident fund hence the contribution has been since directed to pension fund. i left the bank after 4 years and 11 months of service. now when i am asking about the bank s contribution they replied that as i have not completed minimum years of service for pension eligibility they cannot provide me the employers contribution. they gave back only my contribution of provident fund without any employer s contribution. my question is can i claim the money? regards shiv
