I have completed more than 8.5 years of continues service in an Indian organization. Now I have been permanently transferred to sister entity outside India. I have mentioned in title as long term though, coz my organization HR terms it this way, though the vacancy itself along with my new employment contract is for permanent position (NOT a temporary contract). Now my employer days that they'll do Full and final, but they'll NOT pay gratuity. According to them, I'll have to exit from entire organization to have the gratuity. And to avail the same, I'll have to contact my India employer again after resigning in future. Also, according to them I'll be eligible for 9 years gratuity only, even if I'll resign after next 15 years. Until now they couldn't share with me a policy stating this. Will be happy to receive any technical guidance on this.
