Can you please provide a detailed calculation of how PF and ESI Contribution are calculated both for employee and employer?
Hi,
PF will be deducted from Basic+DA
Employee Contribution = 12%
Employer Contribution = 12% (3.67% PF+ 8.33% Pension)
PF Admin Charges = 0.5%
EDLI Contribution = 0.5% (No Admin Charges)
Total = 25%.
ESI will be deducted from Gross Salary.
Employee Contribution = 0.75%
Employer Contribution = 3.25%
Total = 4%

What is the maximum PF and ESI amount that an Employer and Employee can contribute. Thanks in advance.
What an components are mandatory to be mentioned in Payslips. Thanks in advance.
ESI will be deducted from Gross Salary
Employee Contribution = 0.75%
Employer Contribution = 3.25%
Total = 4%
This gross salary on which ESI is calculated, should it include Night Shift Allowance and OT Allowance or any special allowance that is given to employees on regular monthly basis
